History & Achievements

OLTRI’s history begins with the vision of its founder, Andrey Sukhinin. It was during his student years that he decided to devote his life to innovation in healthcare and medicine. To keep up with the evolving market environment, our management focused on understanding customer needs and finding the right business model, which would enable us both to make stable profits and to contribute to the welfare of the whole society.

1994

Andrey Sukhinin opens his shop – ZERO PLUS – to be among the first in the market to sell products for newborns and expectant mothers.

1995

OLTRI receives its name.

1997

The second shop opens.

1998

OLTRI becomes a wholesale distributor of AVENT products.

2000

OLTRI opens its headquarters and intensively expands its regional presence by creating warehouses in strategic Russian cities.

2004

OLTRI wins the prestigious BRAND OF THE YEAR/EFFIE 2004 Gold Award (Children’s Products).

2006

OLTRI repeats its success in a new territory by creating a business unit in the Republic of Belarus to lay the foundation for a future group of companies.

2008

Thanks to OLTRI’s dedicated efforts, the Philips AVENT brand becomes No. 1 Brand in Russia and our distribution model is recognized as a BEST PRACTICE by Philips.

2010

OLTRI wins the World’s Best Philips AVENT Distributor Award.

2013

OLTRI enters the Kazakh market.

2014

OLTRI embarks upon its Market Integrator transformation encompassing our three core competencies: Assortment Management, Supply Chain Management, and Marketing & Communications.

2015

OLTRI continues to grow, creating its Management Company and regional Trading Houses.

2016

OLTRI launches a company-wide project to drive technology-based marketing innovation and operational excellence – Strategy 2016-2020.

Facts and figures

After our 22 years in the children’s products market, we’ve got 670 business partners and a wide range of products sold all over Russia through more than 50,000 outlets in 4,000 cities and other locations.

We actively cooperate with government authorities, business associations (Children’s Products Industry Association, Russia), and nonprofit organizations; support social campaigns and initiatives; and participate in industry-specific contests and events.

Our founder, Andrey Sukhinin, is the Chairman of the Social Policy and Charity Committee and a member of the Board and the Management Committee of the Children’s Products Industry Association (Russia). In 2011, he received the Director of the Year Award from the Children’s Products Industry Association.

As part of the Federal Breastfeeding Promotion Program, we regularly run our popular Prenatal Classes for Expectant Mothers, which are aimed at encouraging women to breastfeed.

We’ve garnered dozens of awards, including the GOLDEN TEDDY and BRAND OF THE YEAR/EFFIE Awards.

OLTRI has received six BRAND OF THE YEAR/EFFIE Awards for its efforts in the distribution of child-care products in Russia.

GOLDEN TEDDY

In 2012, the Philips AVENT brand received two GOLDEN TEDDY Awards: Brand of the Year and Best Products for Expectant and Breastfeeding Mothers.

BEST DISTRIBUTOR

In 2010, OLTRI gained recognition as World’s Best National Distributor of Philips AVENT Products.

GOLDEN TEDDY

In 2010, OLTRI won first prize in three categories: Best Child Care Products, Best Digital Media Products, and Director of the Year.
