Sales Reps
At OLTRI, we consider our sales representatives to be one of our most important assets. It is they who help us get current information about our distribution activities and who support our partners in achieving their goals.
Their primary function is to coordinate our partners’ orders, including replenishing stocks. In addition, based on information they collect and analyze, our sales reps:
- Help determine the right product mix;
- Ensure that products appear in the right store and in the right manner, including in terms of their ‘look’ (visual merchandising), based on approved planograms and extensive knowledge of effective display techniques;
- Suggest and assist in delivering effective trade marketing campaigns to boost sales;
- Provide training for sales staff (in-store consultants and pharmacists) regarding products’ benefits and suitable promotional techniques;
- Give advice regarding product warranties and related claims.
Our sales reps serve cities with populations of over 750,000 and maintain active two-way communications with regional distributors to ensure adequate supplies to our retail partners.
We are very scrupulous when it comes to our sales reps’ performance and offer their services to our partners only if certain essential conditions are met: the territory must have sufficient sales potential; there must be enough outlets to provide adequate product availability; and the cost-benefit ratio of visits must be high enough. If one or more of these conditions are not met, we involve our distribution partners’ sales force, conducting joint training and incentive campaigns and helping them determine the focus product groups to facilitate the effective achievement of weighted distribution targets.
